Sometimes in an attempt to be perfect, I think things get more messed up. For example, watermelon. Seedless watermelon. It's crap. The seeded kind is WAY better, even with all of it's "imperfections" (ie: seeds, and those weird white seeds no one really knows if they're supposed to eat or not). Regular watermelon is so much more tasty, sweet, red, and you get more for your money because they're bigger. So, my point? I'd rather we all brought our imperfect fruit to the table than try to hide behind our inane attempts at becoming a tasteless nonseeded melon.
I can't say I've ever had seedless watermelon... and who ever said you can't eat all the seeds, even the black ones? I think they are good for you!
